What else can we do while we are here?

There are plenty of (largely outdoorsy) things to do locally. For example you could ride one of the additional routes on www.roughrides.co.uk, kayak or canoe with your family/mates down the Wye valley, play golf on England's highest golf course, chill out in the cafes and bookshops of Hay, or visit the small breeds farm.
