What are the rules of the event?
- All riders must register at the event centre before starting the ride. Registration will be from 4-8 pm at the campsite on Saturday and from 8.00am on the Sunday morning in the event centre.
- Riders must report to the finish and return the dibber even if they retire. Failure to do so may render entrants liable to search and rescue costs. Unreturned dibbers are charged by Sportident at £23 each!!
- Riders must wear a hard shell helmet.
- Riders must close all un-attended gates (if there are any - we aim not to).
- Pass or overtake walkers and equestrians slowly and courteously, and aim to cause no damage to the environment.
- Riders must follow the highway code on all public roads.
- Riders will be expected to offer assistance to other riders who are injured or in danger.
- The minimum age for riders is 12 years on the day of the event if accompanied by a responsible adult. Unaccompanied riders must be 17 years or older.
- And please be kind to marshals - they are volunteers and we need their on-going support!
- The entry fee is not refundable or transferrable.
